I graduated as a scholarship student from London Studio Centre after 3 years training in Musical theatre. I was featured in The Evening Standard newspaper as the hardest working student in London. I spent my evenings rehearsing for plays and then dancing in floorshows in west end cabaret clubs until the early hours before returning to college the following morning in time for compulsory ballet class and another 8 hour day of training. I wasn’t out to prove anything, but I did want my equity card and my rent paid so consequently I got busy.

I was fortunate enough to have a dancing career spanning 10 years working as a City Life Dancer in Pantomime and Summer Season. A commercial dancer for several music videos, TV shows and BBC’s Top of the Pops. A Crown Jewel Cheerleader for the London Monarchs (Champions of the World League and the UK’s premier American Football team). Dancing in period dramas including BBC’s Pride & Prejudice and Emma, and choreographing, casting and touring the world with my own dance company to Belize, The Falklands, The Gulf & Bosnia.
