Aged 38 I decided to audition for Drama School and start again. Acting was always my first love, but at a dance college the acting lessons were poor and I had a heavy dose of imposter syndrome along with all the other anxieties of a mum returning to work.

I auditioned for Drama Centre and got onto the 2 year screen acting course and absorbed myself in a gaining a masters degree with a view to treading the boards once more graduating just after my 40th birthday – well that’s when life begins, right?
